City-Wide Garage Sale Day

If you've been collecting items for your annual garage sale, nowʼs the time to get them organized and tagged. The annual City-Wide Garage Sales will be held Saturday, September 28  

The event, sponsored by the Perkins Community Chamber of Commerce, usually draws hundreds of treasure hunters to town. The Perkins Journal will print a garage sale map with locations of garage or yard sales in the September 25th issue.  Listings on the garage sale map cost $10, which includes a classifieds page listing along with the map listing.  Listings outside the city limits will also be included.  The deadline is 1 p.m. Monday, September 23rd, for garage sale listings in the special pullout section.

Sales spots for outside residents that wish to set up in town will be available on a first come, first serve basis in the parking lot of the Vassar Community Center.  This will be the only area allowed for this activity.  Please refrain from parking in front of the Old Church Center or pavilions in the Park.
