Oklahoma Territorial Plaza Fundraising Dinner and Auction

6:30pm - Dickerson Building at Oak Park Retreat Center
This is the only fundraising event for the Oklahoma Territorial Plaza Park.
It’s the time of year to support the Oklahoma Territorial Plaza in Perkins! The annual fundraising dinner and auction will be held in the Dickerson Building at Oak Park in Perkins on November 07, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. The dinner is the only fund raising event for the Plaza. The funds are used to maintain the plaza throughout the year. Have you noticed the new paint on the Old Church Center and the IXL School building; the way the Plaza grounds are always clean and mowed; the large number of citizens who use the Old Church Center, Vassar Community Center, pavilions, playground and splash pad? All of that activity is because you have supported the Oklahoma Territorial Plaza with your donations and participation in the fundraising dinner and auction in the past. We are asking for your help again. Our goal is $30,000.
Many of the past attendees at the dinner and auction have requested that we hold the dinner at an air-conditioned site. The Perkins-Tryon Junior High Gym is not air-conditioned but has seated 252 people at 32 tables. The Oak Park Dickerson Building is an air-conditioned venue we are using again year and it can accommodate 200 people at 25 tables. We need your help to reach our goal of $30,000 to continue to maintain and develop the plaza and establish an endowment fund for the future. However, we have a limited number of tickets to sell this year because of the change of venue. Please request your tickets as soon as possible so you won’t be disappointed at not being able to get a ticket. You can help in a number of ways and we urge you to immediately return the form at the bottom of this page to help us with this year’s fundraising effort. Thank you!
