City-Wide Garage Sale Day (Fall)

If you've been collecting items for your annual garage sale, now's the time to get them organized and tagged. The annual City-Wide Garage Sales will be held Saturday, September 4th.

The event, sponsored by the Perkins Community Chamber of Commerce, usually draws hundreds of treasure hunters to town. The Perkins Journal will print a garage sale map with locations of garage or yard sales in the September 1st issue.  Listings on the garage sale map cost $10, which includes a classifieds page listing along with the map listing.  Listings outside the city limits will also be included.  The deadline to be listed in the paper is 1 p.m. Monday, August 30th, for garage sale listings in the special pullout section.
