Welcome to the Wonderful World of Perkins!
For our Centennial Old Settlers' Day Celebration we are bringing the Magic to Main Street with a Disney Themed Parade and Street Party.
Featuring EXCLUSIVE float themes, the entire Disney Collection is at your disposal - but securing themes is first-come, first served. Entries are time-stamped so get yours in early!
Parade judges will determine 1st-3rd place winners based on compliance with the parade theme and their originality, creativity and crowd appeal.
Entries will close Friday, September 15 and parade lineup will be released to registered participants no later than Monday, September 25. Lineup will begin at 9am at the Middle School (Bandit) football field. Please enter on East Industrial near Dixon Park.
BY SUBMITTING A PARADE ENTRY YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE FOLLOWING RELEASE:
In consideration of acceptance of this entry, I hereby waive any and all claims for myself and my heirs, successors, or assigns against the Perkins Community Chamber of Commerce, or any of their agents, officers, volunteers and/or employees for any injury or illness, theft or other damage which may directly or indirectly result from my participation at any Perkins Community Chamber of Commerce event or activity while on their “premises,” and I further agree to save and hold said parties harmless and agree to indemnify each of said parties against all liability for any loss, cost injury or damage to persons or property which may arise by virtue of my participation of being on the “premises” of a Perkins Community Chamber of Commerce event. I understand that Perkins Community Chamber of Commerce events/ activities may be canceled in the sole judgment and discretion of the sponsors, while in agreement with the sponsor, if unsaid conditions exist due to rain, heat, civil defense, strikes or other circumstances. I further agree that the times of said event/activity may change at the sole discretion of the sponsors. I understand that while I am participating in said event/activity the sponsors or their agents may photograph me, and I agree to allow my photograph to be taken and used as the sponsors see fit. I have read and agree with the conditions above.
