Eligibility depends on the award category:</span></p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li> <p><strong><span>Delmar Niles Community Service Award:</span></strong> <span>A Chamber member who has demonstrated dedication and commitment through years of community service.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><strong><span>Sheri Gordon Community Service Award:</span></strong> <span>A Perkins citizen who has contributed to the betterment of our community.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><strong><span>Citizen of the Year:</span></strong> <span>A community member who has made an outstanding commitment or contribution to Perkins.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><strong><span>Best New Business Award:</span></strong> <span>A local business that opened within the last calendar year and has already made a significant positive impact.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><strong><span>Best Existing Business Award:</span></strong> <span>An established local business that has contributed to the betterment of our community for many years.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><strong><span>Organization of the Year:</span></strong> <span>A local organization that has made a significant positive impact on our community during the past year.</span></p> </li> </ul> <p><strong><span>You don't have to own a business or be a Chamber member to deserve recognition!</span></strong> <span>Our awards celebrate the many people and organizations whose service, generosity, leadership, and dedication make Perkins a better place.</span></p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li> <p><strong><span>&nbsp;Nominations Close:</span></strong> <span>November 27, 2026</span></p> </li> <li> <p><strong><span>&nbsp;Chamber Member Voting:</span></strong> <span>December 2026</span></p> </li> </ul> <p><span>Chamber members are encouraged to submit nominations before the deadline.
