Mark your calendars, Perkins! One of our community’s favorite traditions is returning to downtown on Saturday, September 26, 2026, as the Perkins Chamber of Commerce presents the Old Settlers’ Day Parade & Festival.
This year’s theme, “Home of the Original Cowboy,” celebrates the history and pioneer spirit of Perkins and our community’s connection to the legendary Frank “Pistol Pete” Eaton.
Old Settlers’ Day is an opportunity for neighbors, families, businesses, organizations, and visitors to come together and celebrate what makes Perkins such a special place to call home.
A Full Morning of Fun in Downtown Perkins
Festivities begin at 8:30 a.m., with downtown coming alive with local and regional vendors, food, activities, and entertainment.
Then, at 10:00 a.m., make sure you find a good spot along the route for the Old Settlers’ Day Historical Parade!
This year’s celebration is planned to include:
- Local and regional vendors
- Food trucks
- Games and activities for kids
- Bounce houses
- Music
- Dancing
- Cake walk
- The Historical Parade
- And more good times for the entire family!
Festival activities are scheduled to conclude at 1:00 p.m.
