Join the Perkins community for one of our favorite annual traditions — the Old Settlers’ Day Parade & Festival!

Presented by the Perkins Chamber of Commerce, Old Settlers’ Day brings our community together to celebrate the history, people, and pioneer spirit of Perkins. This year’s theme, “Home of the Original Cowboy,” honors Perkins’ heritage and our connection to legendary cowboy Frank “Pistol Pete” Eaton.

Bring the whole family downtown for a morning filled with local vendors, food, activities, entertainment, and our annual Historical Parade!

Event Schedule

8:30 a.m. — Festival Opens
Come downtown early to visit vendors, grab something to eat, and enjoy the morning’s activities.

10:00 a.m. — Historical Parade Begins
Find your spot along the parade route and help us celebrate Perkins!

1:00 p.m. — Festival Activities Conclude

Old Settlers’ Day is a family-friendly community celebration with activities planned throughout the morning, including:

• Bounce houses

Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

Businesses, churches, schools, clubs, organizations, families, community groups, equestrians, classic vehicles, tractors, and other participants are invited to join the 2026 Old Settlers’ Day Historical Parade.

This year’s theme is “Home of the Original Cowboy,” so we encourage participants to get creative and help us celebrate the history and pioneer spirit of Perkins.

The parade begins at 10:00 a.m.

Registered participants will receive their check-in, staging, lineup, and additional event-day information prior to Old Settlers’ Day.

Vendor registration is now open!

Artisan, Crafter, Commercial & Other Vendors

Perkins Chamber Members: One booth space FREE
Limit one free booth space per Chamber member.

Standard Booth Registration: $25 per booth space

Vendors must be completely set up and ready to serve by 8:00 a.m. and must remain set up until 1:00 p.m.

Vendors may unload at their assigned booth but must promptly move vehicles off Main Street. Booth locations will be marked, and vendors must remain within their designated space.

Food Trucks

Registration: $50 per food truck

Food trucks must be completely set up and ready to serve by 8:00 a.m. and must remain through 1:30 p.m.

If you cannot remain for the required time, please let us know when registering. We will try to accommodate special circumstances when possible, but accommodations cannot be guaranteed.

Registration Closes September 12!

Registered vendors will receive a confirmation email after signing up. Assigned vendor numbers, locations, and additional instructions will be emailed prior to the event.
